Utopia Please

Daily writing prompt
If you had to describe your ideal life, what would it look like?

I dream about this all the time. I want to live in a Utopian society where everyone contributes their particular talents and abilities and receives what they need from others. All the society loves one another with unselfish care without exception.

My particular contribution would be growing plants for food and raising chickens for eggs not for meat. I desire to have some children and also to participate with the other parents in raising, teaching, and preparing the children for life.

I would also be a massage therapist for the community to alleviate muscle soreness and aches for everyone because everyone works honestly and cheerfully each day for the good of one another.

My ideal life would have no violence or striving against each other , not a deficiency of love for one another at all.

I believe this will come to pass some day when the Kingdom of God fully replaces the kingdoms run by humanity.

God’s kingdom spreads by entering and transforming hearts to be unselfish like Jesus was. He loved, He taught, He healed, He wept over our lostness and brokenness. He died for our sins so our guilt and inner anguish can be removed. He replaces our anguish with His fountain of love and tells us over and over “I forgive you!”

All the hearts who let go of selfishness and sin, who cry out for Jesus to rescue you, He will. The Holy Spirit enters into your life and stays with you, leading you all the way and changing your heart by healing it and filling it with hope and joy and peace.

So full of God’s love, it spills out of you and you become a fountain of life, a light in the cold darkness, a comforting song in the silence to others who want to be free.

All these who God is working on will some day live together in unity and will rejoice in victory over sin, over death, over the grave, and over all the ugly feelings that result in people hurting people.

This is what I consider actually living.
